Statement of Faith
God – We believe in one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God.
Revelation – God’s revelation is a self disclosure of Himself. We believe that the Bible is authoritative and without error. It is perfectly trustworthy because we have a perfectly trustworthy God.
Creation and Providence – God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places.
Humanity – We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possesses intrinsic dignity and worth.
Sin – Humanity, by nature and apart from Christ, is broken by sin, declared unrighteous, separated from God, under the judgment of God against sin, and destined for hell. Sin has fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need of salvation.
Salvation – We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
Pneumatology – The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, equal in terms of nature, power, and glory with the Father and the Son.
Church – We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God. The church is made up of those who have become genuine followers of Jesus Christ and have personally responded to the gospel. The ultimate mission of the Church is to bring glory to God by making disciples.
Last Things/New Creation –. We believe Christ is coming again to judge the righteous and the unrighteous in making right what sin has made wrong and in bringing heaven to earth to restore the world fully, for good, and forever.
